History: Mehoni Agricultural Research Center was established on March 2004 to conduct research on lowland high-value tree crops and horticulture crops.The Center conducts its research activities on the Fachagama Research Site, located in Raya Azebo District of the Tigray Region. The Center has also engaged in source seed multiplication forthose of the crop varieties that are suitable to nearby districts of the region.
