History
History: Chiro National Sorghum research and Training center (CNSRTC) is one of the recently established research centers of Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research on May, 2017 to conduct research and provide training mainly on sorghum. But today, in addition to sorghum, it has expanded to cover various researches in crops, natural resource management, livestock and other related applied research and extension activities that contributed to improved rain fed and irrigated agricultural development which best suit the agro-ecology.
