Research System Coordination Office (RSCO)

Research System Coordination Office (RSCO) is pursuant to build an effective national agricultural research system that can provide reliable technologies at any moment by projecting the demands of agricultural development as well as future global market trends. In this process, it is necessary to establish a mechanism that gathers and guides the members of the research system to ensure sufficient coordination, and cooperation and synergy between research institutions, as well as to increase efficiency and research intensity (by allocation of research activity according to their capability)  to align with the national strategic agricultural development common goals. The Research System Coordination Office shall report to the Director General of EIAR and shares the common vision, mission, goals and values of EIAR.

The following three Research Coordination Directorates have been organized under the Research System Coordination Office in order to be able to fulfill its assigned tasks and responsibilities. These are:

  1. Institutional Strategic Partnerships Directorate (ISPD)
  2. Research Capacity Building Enhancement Directorate (RCBED)
  3. Research Centers Coordination Directorate (RCCD)
